volunteer information
Volunteering: Contact Michele michele@milldogrescue.org for information about volunteering with NMDR. You will need to complete a volunteer application and bring it to the kennel on your first visit. Orientations are held Sunday through Friday at 1:00.

Cleaning Team
: This group cleans every morning from 8:30-until whenever the job is done. We always
need help and will take any time you can spare.

Adoption Fair: The adoption fair is every Saturday at the Petco located at Union and Powers, other than the second Saturday when we're at Whole Foods on Powers. 11am until 2pm. We need people to help transport dogs to and from the kennel to the fair and to stay at the fair to assist potential families, interested in adopting. If you would like to help, please contact
marcie@milldogrescue.org

Bathers and Groomers:  Do you want instant gratification?  We have a great little salon and need gentle and kind volunteers to help our dogs shine.  Bathers will be trained and asked to bathe a minimum of once or twice a month. Please contact Pam King, Grooming Coordinator:
pamk@milldogrescue.org

Socializing:
If you are interested in socializing dogs contact jennie@milldogrescue.org

Local Fund raising: Volunteers are always needed in the Colorado area to help with local fund raising events.  Please contact janet@milldogrescue.org if you're interested in volunteering for local fund raising events.

National fund raising:
This is a great way to volunteer if you can't make it out to the kennel and would like to help NMDR from where ever you are.  If you're interested in raising funds online and being a part of NMDR's national fund raising team, please contact aleta@milldogrescue.org to help.   Online creativeness welcome.

Home Check Team: These volunteers visit the homes of families who are interested in adopting or fostering one of our dogs. We need people from all over the state to participate. Please contact Laurie Arnold if you are interested in joining this team. Her email is
laurie@milldogrescue.org

Foster Care: We always need families interested in providing a temporary home for our dogs. If you would like to join this program, please contact Pam Arfston for more information. Her email is
