Hello, my name is Emily, but my foster Mom calls me Em or Emy for short. I am approximately 11 years old and have spent all of that time as a breeding mama in a Missouri puppy mill. MDRN rescued me from that horrific situation and has given me lots of medical treatment I needed for a hernia and teeth issues. They also spayed me. Yeah! I am all well and even though I am considered a senior dog, I am still active and loving and would love to have a home with someone who is willing to hold me and cherish me for whom and what I am—beautiful and gorgeous. I can use a doggie door and am house-trained somewhat, but I don't like the cold so I have a hard time going outside when it is, but I do most of the time. Maybe you could put a piddle pad down for me on days it is so cold. I wear a doggie T-shirt around the house to stay warm and my foster mom has a beautiful coat for me to wear when I go outside. I get along well with other dogs my size, but don't care too much for the really young ones who are pushy and tease me like the foster pup that shares my foster home with me.
